# Email Template Builder

> Visual drag-and-drop email composer for creating reusable branded campaign templates.

The **Email Template Builder** is a visual drag-and-drop composer for building reusable HTML email templates. It opens in a new browser tab.

## What it is for

Templates created here are available as starting points when composing the email content in Step 2 of the [Advanced Campaigns](/client-reference/campaigns/advanced-campaigns) wizard. Using a template ensures brand consistency across all outbound emails — logo placement, colours, fonts, and footer copy are applied automatically.

## Working with templates

**Creating a template** — click **New template**, give it a name, and use the drag-and-drop editor to build the layout. Add content blocks (image, text, button, divider, spacer), set colours and fonts, and save.

**Editing a template** — select an existing template from the list, make changes, and save. Edits apply to future campaigns; already-sent campaigns are not affected.

**Deleting a template** — select a template and click Delete. This cannot be undone. Any campaign currently using this template as a base will not be affected — the template content was copied at the time the campaign was created.

  Build at minimum one default template that matches your venue branding before running your first email campaign. A consistent template improves open rates and guest recognition.
