# Traffic Analytics

> The main analytics dashboard — connections, portal funnel, AP distribution, traffic accounting, and PDF exports.

**Traffic Analytics** is the primary analytics view. It loads asynchronously — each section fetches data independently so charts appear progressively as they resolve. Individual section failures degrade gracefully with inline error panels rather than breaking the whole page.

<Info>
  Traffic Analytics availability depends on your account plan. Contact your Wiacom account manager if this section is not visible or shows a limited view.

## Date range

Select the reporting period using the preset shortcuts at the top of the page:

**Today · Last 7 days · Last 30 days · Last 90 days · Custom**

For a custom range, use the calendar picker to select start and end dates. All sections update simultaneously on filter change.

## Sections

### Connections over time

Daily unique device count across the selected period, with new vs returning visitor split. Includes a peak-hour bar chart showing which hour of day receives the most connections.

### Peak stats

* **Busiest day** — the calendar date with the highest unique device count in the period
* **Peak concurrent users** — the highest number of simultaneously active sessions recorded

### Registration breakdown

Six source cards showing how your audience registered:

| Card         | Source                                           |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Phone / OTP | Registered via phone number and SMS verification |
| Email | Registered via email address |
| Social | Registered via a social or identity provider |
| Quick access | Single-click access without credentials          |
| Voucher | Authenticated via access code |
| Other        | Additional registration sources                  |

### Portal funnel

Drop-off analysis between each screen of the captive portal flow:

```
Welcome → Login → Data Collection → Thank You
```

Shows the count of unique devices at each stage and the drop-off percentage between stages. Use this to identify where guests are abandoning the registration flow.

### AP / Zone distribution

* Per-AP connection counts for all APs in the selected location(s)
* Per-zone treemap view (where zones are configured)
* Map view with AP locations (where coordinates are configured on the AP records)

### Dwell time

Per-zone minimum, average, and maximum session duration.

### Traffic accounting

Download and upload data volume aggregated by day or by AP.

### Email analytics

Funnel for email-registration and Guest Connect flows:

**Sent → Opened → Confirmed → Bounced**

Shows counts and conversion rates at each stage.

### Device & platform

Browser, operating system, and device brand distribution across all sessions in the period.

## Multi-location mode

When more than one location is selected, each section shows per-location donut chart breakdowns alongside the aggregate view. Location grouping is applied automatically.

## PDF export

Click the **Export** button at the top right to generate a downloadable PDF report. Three variants are available:

| Variant       | Audience         | Contents                                                             |
| ------------- | ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Marketing** | Marketing team | Portal funnel, registration breakdown, email analytics, demographics |
| **IT** | Network / IT ops | AP distribution, traffic accounting, session stats |
| **Full**      | Management       | All sections combined                                                |

PDF exports always reflect live data at the moment of generation.
