# Student Connect

Student Connect is a dedicated onboarding channel for educational institutions. It provides identity-verified WiFi registration for students with support for institutional authentication systems.

## Planned Capabilities

* Institutional email verification and student ID validation
* Integration with student information systems (SIS) and directory services
* Role-based access (student, faculty, visitor, temporary)
* Bulk enrollment from institution rosters
* Automatic de-provisioning at end of term or enrollment
* GDPR-compliant consent management for students (including minors where applicable)
* Compatible with all Wiacom access features: Portal, WiFi Pass, Key Access, Passpoint Connect

## Use Cases

## Current Workaround

Student onboarding is currently possible using [Guest Connect](/onboarding/guest-connect/overview) with custom form fields and email domain validation. Contact the Wiacom team for assisted configuration.
