# UniFi

> Wiacom Portal integration with UniFi wireless — API and legacy modes

Wiacom integrates with UniFi wireless networks via the **UniFi Network API** for controller onboarding. Portal, Key Access, and WiFi Pass are all supported.

## Integration Modes

| Mode                | Description                                                                                                                    |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **API**             | Wiacom connects to your UniFi controller over the network, discovers Sites and SSIDs, and maps them to locations automatically |
| **Legacy / manual** | SSID configured manually in the UniFi controller; device added to Wiacom inventory                                             |
