Key Access on Meraki stores a shared WPA2 passphrase in Wiacom, delivers it to registered users by email with a QR code, and (in API mode) pushes it to the Meraki SSID automatically.
SSID Settings

API Mode
Enter the passphrase in Wiacom — it is pushed to the Meraki SSID automatically and updated instantly when changed.
Manual Configuration (Legacy / Non-API Mode)
If you connected Wiacom via the Meraki API, SSID configuration is pushed automatically — skip this section.
Enter the passphrase in Wiacom. Wiacom stores it securely and delivers it to registered users by email and QR code. You must also apply the same passphrase to the SSID manually in the Meraki Dashboard — Wiacom cannot push it without an API connection.
Log in to dashboard.meraki.com, navigate to Wireless → Access Control, and select your SSID.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Security | Password |
| Passphrase | Enter the passphrase defined in Wiacom for this location |
| Splash page | None (direct access) |
Click Save Changes.
Optional, follow this procedure for adding Meraki devices into the Wiacom platform.
Updating the Passphrase
Go to Inventory → Controllers → [controller] → [SSID row] → Edit, enter the new passphrase, and save. In API mode, Wiacom pushes the change to Meraki immediately. In legacy mode, update the SSID passphrase in the Meraki Dashboard separately to keep it in sync.
Changing the passphrase disconnects all currently connected devices. All users must reconnect with the new passphrase.
For individual, revocable credentials, use WiFi Pass instead.
